Courtnay Meletta is a licensed integrative and holistic psychotherapist, mind-body executive leadership coach and consultant, and seasoned yoga-mindfulness teacher/facilitator. Refreshingly honest, compassionately confrontational, and deeply passionate about transformational work, Courtnay has a unique approach to helping others grow.  By merging the spiritually-driven, curative properties of yoga and contemplative practices with modern, science-driven research, Courtnay creates a deeply transformative experience for clients that facilitates empowerment, conscious personal development and spiritual healing.

Courtnay's journey in the world of development and transformation began when she began her yoga practice in 2001. From the very beginning, she felt captivated by the emotional and psychological growth her yoga practice provided, and felt compelled to commit to yoga as a primary vehicle for her personal growth. Two years later, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu in the lineage of compassion-based yoga.  It was this training that planted the seed for her to turn her passion for yoga into a career in mind-body medicine and yoga psychology. Since then she has attended countless yoga trainings with renowned teachers internationally.  In 2009, Courtnay was trained in sacred leadership with Off the Mat, Into the World(r), a non-profit organization inspiring and educating yogis in sacred activism.

Courtnay holds a Masters Degree in Holistic Counseling with a certificate in advanced graduate studies in mental health and holistic leadership from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, and is presently a Ph.D. candidate in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University. She is trained in EMDR with Laurel Parnell, is a Certified Core Energetics Practitioner, 500-hour yoga teacher, trained in hypnotherapy, Reiki, coaching, group-process, and proficient in a variety of other mind-body approaches.  Her research areas of study include yoga as a developmental technology for conscious leadership.

Currently, Courtnay is a Teaching Assistant in the Saybrook University Mind-Body Medicine graduate school, working under the supervision of Selene Vega, Ph.D and an assistant at the Core Energetics Academy led by Karyne Wilner, Psy.D.  Courtnay works as an Independent Consultant for Fortune 500 Executives on personal and professional development through mind-body philosophy and serves as the Integrative Wellness Director for the 2018 Linkage Women in Leadership Institute, delivering integrative mind-body programs to 800 women advancing leaders.
